We want every business on Ujima to be real and findable
- Business owners submit their own listings
- We review new listings before they go live
- Owners can update their details from the business dashboard
- Inaccurate or duplicate listings are corrected or removed
Content Standards
Listings, photos, and descriptions are held to clear standards
- Reports are reviewed by a person
- Misleading or offensive content is removed
- Repeat violations lead to account action
Data Privacy & Security
Your personal information is handled carefully
- Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
- We never sell your personal information
- Paid tickets, plans and pickup orders are processed by Stripe through the business's own checkout; card details never touch our servers
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time

Fake or Misleading Listings
Listing a business you do not represent, or misrepresenting what a business offers
Action: Listing removal + account warning or suspension
Hate Speech & Harassment
Content containing slurs, threats, personal attacks, or discriminatory language
Action: Content removal + permanent account ban
Spam & Unrelated Advertising
Promotional content, unsolicited ads, or repetitive/irrelevant posts
Action: Content removal + account warning
Misinformation
Deliberately false information about businesses, products, or services
Action: Content removal + account review
